Please note this program is intended for people with below average credit scores. People with no credit history are also welcome to participate and a social security number is not required.

Learn strategies for success.

Discover proven strategies for credit building. We’ll explore responsible credit card usage, effective debt management, and the art of making timely payments. It’s time to turn your credit game around!

Craft your action plan.

Building your credit is not just about learning; it’s about taking action. Together, we’ll create a personalized action plan based on your financial goals.

Relate concepts to your life.

Engage in real-world exercises and case studies to solidify your understanding. Share your experiences with your fellow participants, creating a supportive community along the way.

Apply for a credit building loan.

At the end of the course, you have the opportunity to apply for a credit-building loan. We’ll guide you through the application process and share tips on increasing your chances of approval.

WEV Credit Building Loan Terms include:

  • Loan Amount: $500 minimum, $2500 maximum
  • Interest Rate: 0%
  • Fees: 0%
  • Term Length: Up to 24-month repayment
  • Payments: Equal payments of principal monthly
  • Minimum Credit Score: N/A


  • Applicants can apply for up to 90 days after they have successfully completed the WEV Credit Builder Course and finalized their Credit Action Plan.
  • Applicants must have resided within Santa Barbara County or Ventura County for at least one year.
