Become a Digital Marketing Coordinator for WEV

The Part-Time Bilingual Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening our digital presence and expanding our reach across English- and Spanish-speaking audiences. This position is primarily responsible for content creation, social media management and digital storytelling that elevates our mission, programs, and impact.

This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented communicator who is comfortable working independently and is passionate about economic mobility, entrepreneurship, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Develop engaging bilingual (English/Spanish) content for social media, newsletters, blog posts, and website updates in alignment with WEV’s social media and marketing plan
  • Translate and culturally adapt messaging to resonate authentically with Spanish-speaking audiences
  • Share client success stories, program highlights, and impact data

Social Media Management

  • Manage content calendar across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Draft, schedule, and monitor posts
  • Engage with followers and respond to messages/comments as appropriate
  • Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports

Brand & Design Support

  • Create simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital channels
  • Support Event Calendar website updates

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both languages
  • Experience managing social media platforms for an organization or brand
  • Familiarity with digital media planning tools (e.g. Planoly, Hootsuite)
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Passion for nonprofit work, entrepreneurship, and community impact

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Hispanic/Spanish-speaking communities
  • Photography and/or short-form video-editing skills
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Understanding of nonprofit communications and fundraising
  • Possesses a car and valid driver’s license (to attend events)

Compensation:

$28 to $34 per hour, commensurate with experience.
