Get Ready for Fall Programs!
WEV’s 14-week Self-Employment Training (SET) course, begins the week of Labor Day (Sept. 5th), and our 6-week Business Plan Intensive (BPI) course begins Sept.24th in Ventura and October 3rd in Santa Barbara.
If you or someone you know would like more information about these programs, sign up for one of the free 1-hour orientations. Hurry – the last orientation for Fall courses will be held next Wednesday, August 31st.

Impressive BPI Graduates!
This summer a dedicated group of women braved the intense 6-week curriculum of WEV’s Business Plan Intensive (BPI) course. Their business ideas include soap making classes & workshops, a frozen yogurt shop, and fruit juice and smoothie bar.
The fourthBPI graduate is licensed audiologist Donna Gilmartin, M.S., owner of Santa Barbara Hearing Care, Inc. During the month of August, Donna will be offering free hearing tests and free hearing aid consultations as part of the Hearing Aids Santa Barbara community outreach program.
