We’re excited to start our 2013 Fall business training courses this week! 81 entrepreneurs embark on making their business ideas a reality. Our September Client of the Month has words of wisdom for those of you starting out and growing up your business: “The journey may appear long and arduous but inch by inch it’s a cinch, yard by yard it’s not hard, and when you arrive on the other side, the side of achievement, boy does it feel grand!” Enjoy this issue of WEV Got News!

Client of the Month: Paula Parisotto

sitting on chair Our September Client of the Month, Paula Parisotto, enrolled in a Personal Development class that led her to discover (and eventually pursue!) her need for creativity, personality and an intrinsic passion for fashion. She enrolled in SET to develop a personal fashion-styling business, and adopted a new life motto that has landed her a number of editorial spreads: “Don’t live your life wishing. Live your life by doing!” Read more of her story here!

Do You Have a Birthday Coming Up?

Think about requesting that your friends and family make donations to WEV instead of giving you birthday presents! We can set up your own online donation page to track your progress. If you are interested in “donating” your birthday to WEV, please contact Danelle Mangone at (805) 456-2347 or dmangone@wevonline.org.

Trolley Tours: Sponsor a WEV Fundraiser!

Do you know a business or organization that would be interested in sponsoring an upcoming WEV fundraiser? In November, we’ll be hosting a Ventura Trolley Tour fundraiser and we’re looking for sponsors! If you want more information about sponsorship or know someone who we should reach out to, please email Danelle Mangone at dmangone@wevonline.org.
