Plan for Success in SET Workshops

workshopphoto_cropped 2Last week, WEV held the second of three ‘Plan for Success in SET’ pilot workshops, designed to better prepare clients for their journey in the Self-Employment Training (SET) course! Taught by instructor Julie Samson, participants learned basic financial lingo and a six-step assessment to see if their business concept might be financially feasible and in alignment with their lifestyle goals.

Enroll in SET by July 18th in order to attend the final workshop facilitated by your SET instructor! If you haven’t yet attended the mandatory orientation, sign up today!


New WEV Loan Approved!

Congratulations to recent loan recipient, Ashley Pope, owner of Spice-topia. She was approved for a WEV Loan to furnish her commercial kitchen. Spice-topia is a specialty spice and tea store that sources its products primarily from organic and fair trade certified suppliers.
