WATC Follow Up

Many thanks to the hundreds of people who attended and enjoyed WEV’s Women and the City event in downtown Ventura on May 28th. Proceeds from “Women and the City” benefitted WEV’s Ventura County Self-Employment Training programs, helping women (and men) access vital self-employment training programs and business capital. Everyone looked so glamorous, it truly made the event one-of-a-kind! The event was made possible by leading “Diva” Sponsor, Fashion Forms and “Fashionista” Sponsors Venoco, Inc. and Aqua Lounge/Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Check out the spectacular photos by WEV graduate Julie Callahan.

Read the great article in the Ventura Breeze written by WEV graduate Nanci Cone.

At close range, the colors seemed to jump out at me, and even the tiny textural changes in the glass are visible.” Read more
