Think BIG: WEV’s Quarterly Conference Series and Expo gears up for 2008

Join us for a WEV Alumni Gathering

MasterMind Group

Who?  YOU! WEV Alumni includes: Self-Employment Training (SET) graduates, Small Business Loan Fund recipients, past W! Members and those who have been involved with and would like to give back to the community of business women WEV has created throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. 

What?  WEV is developing W! into a new membership program with expanded services including the opportunity to establish mentoring for grads of SET/SSET.  This meeting will be a good time to share your thoughts on WEV’s overall vision and the direction being taken to provide services for all phases of business:  start-up, launch, grow and sustain.   

 
When?  February 7, 2008 at 6:00pm
 

Where?  Direct Relief International, 27 S. La Patera Lane, Goleta, CA 93117. Map

Santa Barbara

        ·  English – Wednesdays, 6-9pm

        ·  Spanish – Thursdays, 6-9pm

Ventura County

· English – Mondays in Thousand Oaks, 6-9pm 

· English – Wednesdays in Oxnard, 9am-12pm 

· English – Wednesdays in Ventura, 6-9pm

     · Spanish – Thursdays in Oxnard

  • Win Free Marketing Consulting for SET Grads:

    A doctoral candidate at Pepperdine University is conducting research on the SET Program for her dissertation.  She is looking for past SET graduates to interview for 20-30 minutes on their SET experience.  As an incentive to participate, she is giving $5 Starbucks gift cards to each participant.  Additionally, each participant can enter to win 2 hours of free Marketing Consultation services for their business.  Interviews will be conducted through January 12th.  Spaces are limited so sign up today.
