At WEV we have always known that women have the capacity to lead successful companies, to move forward and upward. If given the opportunity they can, and will, change their lives and the lives of their families for the better – forever. So, after 20 years we thought it was time for a new look. One as dynamic as the women we serve and that better communicates WEV’s place in the community for women entrepreneurs. We are so proud to unveil our new logo whose design was generously underwritten by Idea Engineering. We hope you think it’s as exciting as we do.

Calling Business Experts
WEV just launched its newest, by invitation-only (SET and BPI graduates) program and needs business experts with financial, marketing and sales backgrounds to volunteer 5 consulting hours over the year. Please continue reading for a description of the program. If interested, please contact Business Development Specialist Tea Silvestre at (805) 667-8004 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thrive in Five™ – Helping Small Businesses Start, Grow and Thrive: Long-term, individualized training, consulting and coaching for entrepreneurs who have already written a business plan, but need assistance with launching, stabilizing and/or growing their companies. Each client agrees to make a commitment to work with WEV for at least 12 months (up to 5 years). The program begins with an in depth assessment and analysis of the client’s business – including financials, key performance indicators, marketing plans, and operations. Working in conjunction with WEV staff and WEV’s pool of business experts, the client sets SMART strategic goals. Success is achieved through regular meetings with consultants and coaches who facilitate accountability to the entrepreneur’s strategic goals.
