–Become a Mentor: On May 28th, 2009 Girls Incorporated of Greater Santa Barbara will be hosting its annual “Take Our Daughters to Work Day”. We are thrilled to be able to give teen girls the chance to job-shadow in the career field of their dreams! The goal is to expose the girls to a wide range of career opportunities, to teach them about the paths they need to take to get there and ultimately to empower them to do so. We are currently recruiting women mentors in many different career fields to host girls at their place of employment during the afternoon on May 28th.
