Michael was working as a real estate agent and developer when the economy turned down in 2008. He discovered the emerging green economy which afforded him the chance to pursue both housing and energy. In 2010, he took WEV’s SET course and launched BarrierEnergy Associates a year later. In 2012, he returned to WEV and received a loan to purchase test equipment. He received a second loan in 2014 to build his staff and purchase additional equipment. As a result, Michael has been able to create a niche that pays a better than average wage combining several skills and abilities that are marketable and in high demand.
