On a practical level, Carolin became an entrepreneur because she found herself as the sole breadwinner for her family and had to find a way to provide so they could eat and avoid eviction. But deeper than that, Carolin cared deeply about helping women transform their lives. She took WEV’s SET course in 2007 and turned her “expensive hobby” into a legitimate business as an author, speaker, and mentor. In 2012, she joined Thrive and received a WEV Loan in 2013 to help her create her brand and launch a professional website. Her business has grown year after year and she has achieved the dream of providing for her family while pursuing her passion.
