Client Transformation

mbaileyBlogNo CommentsMay 12, 2015

We see clients in the Smart Entrepreneurial Training (SET) program go through an incredible transformation from the time we first meet them at an orientation to when they deliver their business introduction in front of 200 people at the graduation ceremony. Here’s one story from Santa Barbara SET instructor, Masen Yaffee:

“I’ve seen tremendous growth in terms of confidence and business expansion from clients this semester. One story a client told me the other night is that she went to a local grocer to see if they would sell to her on a wholesale basis. She was just doing research for her financial plan to figure out what food costs would be for her new food-related service and was also hoping to possibly secure a vendor from whom to buy her raw materials. The grocer inquired about her product and when she told him what she was making, he offered to be a retail seller for her. Not knowing anything about the process of retailing through a large grocery store, she felt a little overwhelmed at the prospect and acknowledged this to the grocer. He offered to walk her through the entire process and help her have a successful experience selling through them. Not only did her business take a huge step forward much faster than she imagined, but she gained tremendous personal and business confidence in the process.”

Come to the Smart Entrepreneurial Training graduation on May 20th from 6-8pm to hear more about the inspiring business ventures of WEV clients! Click here for more graduation details.
