Nicole joined WEV as Program Coordinator in December 2014. She has been working in the non-profit sector for 12 years, specifically with organizations in programs designed to break the cycle of generational poverty. After a trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Nicole became conscious of the incredible impact economic empowerment can have on transforming an individual and a community. She obtained a master’s degree from Pepperdine University in Social Entrepreneurship and Change. As the Program Coordinator, Nicole is responsible for implementing the components of the program and helping connect clients with resources in both Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
