Guest Speakers Throughout WEV's 14-week Self-Employment Training course, there are several opportunities for professionals to speak to students on their area of expertise. Guest speakers are needed in both our North County and South County classes. Time slots are approximately 45 minutes and take place during our evening classes or at our Saturday seminar.

Mentors Mentors have the opportunity to guide, advise and help further both the personal and professional development of a WEV graduate. Mentors help teach a woman "the ropes" of her industry, provide resources, networking opportunities, give encouragement and much more.
Mentoring options include: • One on one mentoring with a 6-month commitment • "Mentoring Moments" with one or a small group of mentees • Mentor Resource with brief questions by mentees on topics specific to your experience and skills Top of page
