$10,850 Raised for WEV!

Santa Barbara is still buzzing over Coastal Woman’s 2nd Annual Hot Summer Night Bachelor Auction benefiting WEV. More than 150 people attended the exciting event at the Contemporary Arts Forum on Friday, August 24, which was catered by WEV graduate business Savoir Faire. Jan Hill, former WEV Board Member, enthusiastically emceed the auction of 12 bachelors, plus three last-minute "volunteer" bachelors from the audience, and a lunch with Mayor Marty Blum on September 28! There was something for everyone, including two incredible "add your own guest" packages, which included a weekend away, spa treatments, and wine tasting. A raffle also featured products and services from WEV graduates and other local businesses. WEV acknowledges these bachelors for their willingness to stand on stage in a tuxedo, promote a date of their design, and support WEV’s mission. Thanks to: Adam Lundquist, Andrew Wirth, Arthur Emr, Bradley Chmelka, Bruce Goetting, Curt Direnzi, David Brown, David Delisle, John Palminteri, John Thyne, Matt Bertolet, Michael Stanton, Owen Dell, Robb Bolton and Spencer Fischer. A huge heartfelt thank you to Coastal Woman for selecting WEV, for the second year, to be the beneficiary of the proceeds from the Bachelor Auction.
