Kelly and Tina have both always loved wine and cheese – separately. When they began to imagine all the possible combinations of wine and cheese under one roof, the idea for Paradise Pantry was born. While they had experience from previously working together at restaurant, they didn’t have the capital to make their dream a reality. Fortunately, WEV approved the start-up loan they needed, and they opened their doors in June 2007. Three years later, Kelly and Tina joined Thrive in Five as part of the program’s initial cohort. In 2013, the downtown Ventura market expanded into a full-service restaurant and wine bar.
