WEV is proud to announce its newest offering: Business Ready!

Business Ready is a 4-session (10-hours total) workshop designed for the person contemplating starting their own business. It will help you take inventory of your skills and resources, identify your passions, and determine if you have what it takes for entrepreneurship. If you don’t have one concrete business idea - or you have five - this workshop will guide you in the process of thinking creatively so you can develop a clear business concept. It will also help you ask and answer the right questions before you dive in to entrepreneurship, such as:

• What are my goals for starting a business?
• Do I have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur?
• Am I ready financially?
• Where can I go for additional assistance?
• And many more…

Logistics

Business Ready workshops are offered twice annually in the months preceding the Self-Employment Training (SET) course: June/July and October/November. The 10-hour workshops are held for 2.5 hours on four weekdays over two consecutive weeks. Maximum enrollment is 15-25 clients depending on the facility.

The total cost for the 10-hour workshop is $99.

Cancellation/Refund Policies

• If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify WEV before the first session. You will be refunded your payment less a $25 administrative fee.
• No refunds are available once the first session takes place.
• In the event that a workshop does not meet a minimum number of clients, it may be cancelled and your payment will be fully refunded.
