Marni grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature. She has seventeen years of banking experience, fourteen of which have been spent with Montecito Bank & Trust, where she is currently the Community President of Ventura, managing the bank’s 8^th branch located at 4730 Telephone Road.

Much of her banking career focused on commercial lending, and she managed portfolios primarily of Commercial and Industrial loans and Commercial Real Estate loans. Her current responsibilities include managing the branch, business development and community outreach.

Organizations that she currently serves, either as a board member or volunteer, are:

• Women’s Economic Ventures- Chair of the Board of Directors 
• Ventura Chamber of Commerce- Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors
• Casa Pacifica- Board of Directors
• Interface Children and Family Services- Advisory Board
• Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County (EDC-VC)- Loan Board Member

Marni has one daughter who is in 6^th grade at Balboa Middle School. They have lived in Ventura since 2000.
